Mechanical Truck Lock
MTH Municipal Truck Lock
The MTH Municipal Truck Lock fits in the parking brake system. The spring loaded brakes are prevented from being released by air when the lock is activated. If the parking brake is released but the lock is not yet activated, air is diverted via an air horn alerting operator and keeping the spring loaded parking stop in place. This doubles as an alert to the driver to disable the truck lock before moving on.
This is for vehicles with PTO such as cleaning, skip hire, or recovery trucks. The driver must leave the cab while the engine is running.
It is also a great anti-theft device if the vehicle is parked up.
